Connect With Dr. Dennis Odiaka
Since knowing God’s plan and purpose for himself, Brother Dennis became a life-long learner and practitioner in scriptural and secular matters. To fulfill the will of God for himself, family, community, and generation he committed to believing, knowing, trusting, experiencing, and working with and for God beyond the religious limitations many have placed Him. Following the Lord’s direction, Dennis, originally a mechanical engineer invested himself...
...in further personal, professional, professorial, and pastoral development (2Tim 2:15).
Brother Dennis was born-again at 12 years and baptized in the Holy Spirit at 24. At 36, was told he would Pastor, and this was more than a decade ago. When he sought the Lord Jesus in prayer in 1995 to know the platform for his ministry and Godly purpose, the Lord said to him "You will build my church. You will teach my people," which the Lord confirmed with scripture. Dennis has since grown from being just a regular Christian to ministry helper to ministry head in his former and current Church. In October 2011, the Spirit of God impressed “Vessels; this is your Church” on him, and in December 2012, he and his wife started Vessels Church, in Charlotte, NC USA.
In 1998, Brother Dennis was appointed co-lead of the Singles’ fellowship under the pastoral ministry in his former church in Nigeria. Encouraged by the Lord, he pursued and earned an MBA in Technology Policy and Management in 1999, although back then it didn’t appear to have a spiritual goal. In 2002, the Lord told Him to move to the USA for his doctorate. He started in March 2005, became a certified project management professional (PMP) in September 2005, and earned his Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences by March 2008. Six months before he graduated he heard the Lord say to him “Get done with your program quick, you are coming to work for me.”
Between 2006 and 2017 Dennis taught undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students in several regional and national, Christian and non-Christian universities, first as online and full-time, then later as part-time faculty. He became a professor of Business and Management in 2009; a published author of several ministerial and professional development books in 2010; and a pastor in 2012. To Brother Dennis, all these are mere credentials—the outcomes of one’s mundane labor. Loving, learning, and living in and with Christ produces supernatural outcomes, and this is a top priority for him.
In the isolation and trials of starting a new church, between 2012 & 2017, he spent a great deal of education time with the Holy Spirit, learning what his assignment entails. Now, he has started to “build and teach God’s people” beginning from Vessels Church so that they can be revealed in this generation as the “Sons of God” (Rom 8:19). As has been prophesied, Dennis knows and believes, that the world, through the living Church of Jesus Christ, is soon to experience an awakening tsunami of God’s grace and love; that will be poured out in magnitudes that have never been seen or known before by the world.
The Lord instructed Brother Dennis, at the onset of Vessels Church, via scripture to “Arise, go ….and preach the message I bid you” (Jon 3:2). Endeavoring to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and truth of scripture, his message of the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is inspiringly simple, spiritual, and sensible so that everyone; children, grown, and older folks gets it. Listen to him:
“The church has come of age; although it has been a bumpy trying but victorious ride through its phased history, that is its growth, development, and eventual manifestation as the Sons of God, like Jesus our Brother. We must now AWAKE to Righteousness (1Cor 15:34, Rom 13:11, Eph 5:14), re-engage our consecration to God the Father and our commitment to the Lord Jesus, in whose death we were baptized into so we should walk in newness of life by the Holy Spirit (Rom 6:3-4).
Our Lord and God, is already revealing a few of us to the world as true 'Sons of God' (Rom 8:19); those who unselfishly go everywhere doing good and healing all that are oppressed of the devil (Act 10:38). In so doing we, in turn, reveal the Father; a Loving God to the world (Rom 13:14, Gal 3:27, Eph 4:24, Col 3:10-12). For He loves all and wants to heal and deliver them from their sickness, sin, and death (Jn 3:16, Act 10:38). Join me so that we can rebuild the breaches in the Church together with Jesus, to the praise and glory of God our Father, and for the benefit of our families, communities, cities, and nations.”
